Netcasting works on AOL.

You should have AOL V.5 and, depending on when and how your AOL was installed, you may need the Windows media player 6.4 and your system may automatically download an audio codec and MPEG4 codec. If you are using America Online (especially versions 3.0 or below), some pages may seem not to display correctly.

The AOL browser (even though it is powered by Internet Explorer) still has some problems interpreting Java Script. (Java Script is a programming language which is used to give Web sites additional functionality or effects.) This has been a dilemma in the past but is getting better as more browsers are becoming more cross-platform compatible with Java Script.

We use Java Script to run a number of elements within our pages (including the KevCam). To enjoy the full experience of TRdirect as well as many other sites, we recommend that once you are connected to AOL, minimize the AOL screen, and open up the most current version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer for viewing.

If you do not have IE5 you can download the latest version for free by clicking on the IE5 icon on the Setup page.
